Description
The beach opens to the sea, is of great length and with a width varying from 30 to 40 meters. The sand is fine and gray; the water warm, crystal, and green-blue. The waves, on occasion, rise to 6 meters high, ideal for practicing surfing. Each year en the month of November, there is in this beach a tournament of surfing that last for three days in which surfers participate from the region, nationally, and foreign, which offers a true spectacle in this wonderful art of dominating the waves. Also, the contest of Miss Bikini takes place, with marathon rallies and cultural events. In this beach it is possible to enjoy sunbathing and long walks or swimming, which we recommend only to experts. Near the beach there are small establishments such as restaurants and hotels.
Location
Zicatela Beach can be arrived at, located to the Southeastern of the population, starting off of Walking Perez Gazga, going to the coastal highway towards Angel Port. 500 meters (1640,41 feet) ahead go to the right and 200 meters (656,16 feet) farther ahead you will find the beach. Also it is possible to arrive by walking all the border from the beach following towards the Southeastern.
