Description
It is in the east of the Principal Bay of Puerto Escondido. It measures approximately 500 meters in length by a width that varies between the 40 and 80 meters. It has a gentle slope, fine, gray sand and is without contamination. The water is of blue green color, of tempered temperature and regular waves.
It is possible to contract the service of boats to travel by different beaches from Puerto Escondido or to practice any other aquatic sport.
In this beach, the Cooperative Society "Hidden End" offers service of boats and equipment for deep sea sport fishing. Because this activity is in deep waters, the boats must move away of the beach, approximately 15 or 20 miles out to sea. Between the species that can be captured they have: fish guards, gilded, marlín and fish rooster.
In the November celebrations, a competition of sport fishing is carried out, at national and international level, with duration of two or three days. Athletes participate from Acapulco, Saline Cruz, Zihuatanejo, Ixtapa, Chiapas; as well as foreign fans.
This place has restaurants of regional, international, Italian and Japanese food; hotels, villas and cabins, houses of guests, bungalows, suites and a trailer park.
Location
The Principal beach is located to the south of Puerto Escondido, about 50 meters, from walking tourist Perez Gazga.
