Description
The beach is approximately 140 meters long by 30 meters wide. It has fine, white sand; the water is green and blue, is clear, and is shallow. You encounter small rock formations; the waves are somewhat calm. All this allows the place to be ideal for practicing swimming and snorkeling. The beach is visited frequently for its tranquility, mostly in the vacation seasons. You can camp, stay in a house, and rent diving and snorkeling equipment.
Location
Carrizalillo is located close to Puerto Escondido, to the east, taking the coastal highway towards Pinotepa Nacional. Approximately 1640 feet from the town, turn left when you see the beach - it's right in town. You can also rent a boat to get to the ocean.
